Abstract
En el presente trabajo se muestra el desarrollo y la aplicación de una serie de expresiones que permiten evaluar la razón de
contacto en transmisiones por engranajes donde el piñón y la rueda o el piñón solo poseen socavado. Además se muestra el
procedimiento para la aplicación de dichas expresiones, mediante la solución de cuatro problemas.

Abstract.
This paper deals with the development and application of a series of relations that allow evaluating the contact ratio in gear
transmissions where the pinion and the wheel have undercut. The procedure is applied in the solution of four problems.
