// A mathematical model and procedure for graphic generation of tooth flanks of cylindrical gear.
Abstract

A mathematical model based developed in coordinated polar and a computational procedure for graphic generation of tooth flanks in
external parallel-axis cylindrical involute gears are exposed. The mentioned model and procedure are able to consider the effect in
the tooth gear geometry of the addendum modification coefficient and the rack shaped tool used in the cutting of gear. Additionally,
the results are useful for the improvement of the gear tooth model and formulations for the load capacity calculation of cylindrical
gears by means of the method of finite elements. For the determination of the calculation procedures based on the mathematical
models was established using the technique of dichromatic graphs.
