// New expressions for torsion shear stress calculation in welding fillets.
Abstract

Abstract.
In this paper, the Thin Walled profiles Torsion Theory is applied to calculation of torsional shear stresses of complex geometry
profiles welded joints fillets. New calculation expressions are obtained that allowed to obtain a better aproach than the classic
expressions in relation to the values obtained by the Finite Elements Method.
Key words: Torsion, welded joints, welding fillets.
