// Metallic deposition of Stellite degree 6 on AISI 316 in plane surfaces by means of friction welding.
Abstract

Abstract
Presently work carried out a study of the process of metallic deposition of Stellite degree 6 on a surface of stainless
steel AISI 316 through the welding by friction. Different combinations of welding parameters were studied as:
rotation speed of the contribution material bar, sustain traverse speed, time of heating, pressure of the bar against
the sustain. The obtained deposits are subject to metalografic analysis in the interface area and to bending test in
order to check their adhesion to the metal bases.
Key words: Friction welding, metallic deposits.
