// Eolic-Diesel hybrid system for electric power supply of 20 tourist cabins in Caguamas Key.
Abstract

Abstract
The technical and economic aspects of the planning of an Eolic-Diesel hybrid system for the supply of electric power of 20
tourist cabins in Caguamas Key are presented. The energy demand and the load curve of the tourist installation is
determined. An Eolic-Diesel hybrid system formed by six 10 kW windmills and two Diesel generators of 75 kW each one
are dimensioned. Finally the influence of variation of some important parameters about the profitability of the project are
stated.
Key words:.Eolic-Diesel system, electic power generation, windmillgenerator, economic planning.
