Abstract
En la industria mecánica, uno de los elementos más utilizados son las transmisiones de ruedas dentadas. Estos elementos de
máquinas con el trabajo prolongado, sufren cambios notables en su geometría original, debido principalmente a las cargas a
que están sometidos. Para reacondicionar estas ruedas, es imprescindible conocer los parámetros geométricos originales
para poder maquinar. Cuando se desconoce esta información, es necesario determinarla, y precisamente éste es el
contenido del trabajo, la determinación de los parámetros geométricos originales de ruedas cilíndricas de dientes rectos y
helicoidales, a partir de mediciones realizadas a parámetros de la transmisión, que posteriormente son introducidos como
datos, en un programa de computación. En pocos segundos se obtienen los valores necesarios para la fabricación de las
ruedas, obteniéndose valores mucho más precisos que utilizando los métodos tradicionales que se emplean en las empresas
que se dedican a esta función

Abstract:
In the mechanical industry, one of the most used elements are gears transmissions. These machine elements under long
exploitation term, suffer remarkable changes in their original geometry due principally to the working loads. In order to
recondition these wheels it is indispensable to know the original geometric parameters in order to be able to mechanize new
ones. When this information is unknown it is necessary to determine it, and in fact this is the content of this paper, starting
from mensurations of transmission parameters carried out and later and introduced as data in a computation program. En
few seconds the necessary values for the production of gears are obtained with much more precise values than using the
traditional methods in use by companies that are devoted to this function.
