Procedimiento de descifrado geométrico de engranajes cilíndricos // Re – ingeneering of the basic geometric of cylindrical gears
Abstract
La gran diversidad de los tipos y tamaños de transmisiones por engranajes que son empleados ha dificultado en gran
medida la reparación generalizada de estos componentes y ha requerido que la recuperación de las ruedas dentadas necesite
de la aplicación de métodos de ingeniería inversa que permita conocer los parámetros geométricos y constructivos iniciales
básicos, para su posterior reconstrucción y evaluación de la capacidad de carga. Por tal motivo, en el presente trabajo es
brindado un método práctico, con resultados medios de precisión pero prácticamente aceptables, basado en las formulas
clásicas de la geometría de los engranajes cilíndricos, para obtener los parámetros fundamentales del dentado de ruedas de
un engranaje cilíndrico convencional de ejes paralelos y contacto exterior.

Abstract
At present, the great diversity of type and size of gear transmissions with industrial application have made difficult the
widespread repair of these components. This has required that the gear recovery needs of re-engineering methods that allows to
know the basic geometric and manufacturing parameters of gears, for its later reconstruction and evaluation of the load
capacity. For that reason, based in the classic formulate of the cylindrical gears geometry, in the present work is offered a
practical method with results not too exact, but practically acceptable, to obtain the fundamental parameters of the toothed for a
conventional cylindrical gear of parallel axes and external contact.
