Tareas para la comunicación del futuro profesional: una experiencia pedagógica//Communication activities for the future engineer: a pedagogical experience
Abstract
Abstract
Communication of the future professionals today has become a problem that professors care about due to the deficiencies that the students have in the correct use of the language. Methodological alternatives have been used in order to make the process of communication effective, among them the methodology based on tasks and whose fundamental objective is learning through action. Here, the cognitive process is related with interaction in a given context. This paper makes emphasis on the importance of this methodology and presents a system based on tasks that contributed to the development of communicative competence in the future professionals of science and technology. These tasks were used specifically with students from the mechanical engineering faculty as part of the experiment. A development concerning the level of communicative competence could be confirmed with the results obtained in the initial diagnostic test and the pedagogical test. Therefore, the effectiveness of this methodology was proved.
