Vínculo lenguaje-contexto y su importancia para la comunicación del futuro ingeniero // The relatonship between language and context and its importance for the communication of the future engineer
Abstract
El objetivo central que persigue el sistema educacional cubano es la formación de profesionales
integrales. En esto, sin lugar a dudas, está implícito el propósito de lograr que sean además,
competentes en el uso del lenguaje para que puedan satisfacer las exigencias, no solo del modelo
del profesional diseñado para cada carrera de ciencias técnicas sino además, las del contexto donde
se desenvuelven. El objetivo de este artículo, es demostrar el vínculo lenguaje-contexto y cómo a
través de este se puede favorecer la comunicación, a partir de considerar al lenguaje como mediador
esencial en los procesos de construcción de conocimientos en situaciones interactivas. Se utilizaron
métodos del nivel teórico y empírico que permitieron abordar el objeto de estudio y aproximarlo a las
posiciones actuales que tratan acerca de este particular. Como resultado de este trabajo se ofrecen
algunos ejemplos que evidencian que el uso que se hace del lenguaje está relacionado con el
contexto de comunicación y que en la medida en que el estudiante sepa operar con el lenguaje
científico-técnico podrá desarrollar determinadas habilidades que favorecerán su desempeño
profesional presente y futuro.

Abstract
The main objective followed by the Cuban educational system is the formation of whole professionals.
The purpose to achieve competent professionals in the use of the language to meet the demands not
only from the professional model designed for each career of technical science but also the ones from
the context where they develop is implicit. The objective of this article is to show the language-context
bond and how it can favour communication, considering language as an essential mediator in the
construction processes of knowledge in interactive situations. Methods from a theoretical and
empirical level were used. They allowed the author of this paper to approach the object of study, and
draw them near to the up-to-date positions that deal with this object of study in particular. As a result,
a few examples are given in this paper that evidence the use of the scientific-technical language. The
student will develop definite abilities that will favour his present and future outcome in the same way
he is able to operate with the language of science.
