Pegado de láminas elastómero Nitrilo/Retamo Liso: Empleo de adhesivos ecológicos con silano y halógeno//Bonding of Sheets nitrile elastomer/Retamo Liso: Use of ecological adhesives with silane and halogen
Abstract

Abstract
Bonded joint of composite sheets of nitrile butadiene rubber with Teline Monspessulana flour mercerized in proportion of 50 phr was studied, with the objective of testing ecological alternatives of adhesion. Two adhesives were used: water-based polyurethane and chloroprene dispersions, known as environmentally friendly. In the mechanisms used to bonding joint substrates of composites rubber/flour with adhesive, three surface treatments were tested: 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, vinyltrimethoxysilane and chlorinate based primers. To study the adhesion strength of the bonded joints, peel tests were performed. The specimens were then characterized by infrared spectroscopy FT-IR in order to establish the mechanism by which the adhesion of substrates. Analyses showed that the based-vinyltrimethoxysilane primer presented a better performance in adhesive bonding of polyurethane on the surface of the substrates, which was observed in the highest values of peel strength.
Key words: teline monspessulana, NBR, primers, water-based polyurethane, water-based chloroprene.
