Monitorado de condición en grupos electrógenos basado en análisis de vibraciones por bandas espectrales // Condition monitoring in engine generator sets based on vibration analysis by spectral bands
Abstract

Abstract
Based on the vibration analysis by spectral alarm bands, it is shown a first approximation of condition monitoring for generators HSR7719-8P of HYUNDAI HIMSEN engine generator sets atreal power plant. Measurements were made on 24 engine generator sets, recording narrow band peak vibrations at selected points according toISO 8528-9. Registered frequency components from the engine were not taken into account and four discrete spectral alarm bands were defined, as a starting point to condition monitoring of such generators. Preliminary alarm thresholds were estimated using statistical treatment of the dominant amplitudes within each spectral band. It was concluded that those generators in which the vibrations were recorded exhibit a normal condition.Key words: condition monitoring, narrow band measurement, alarm, generator set.
