Diagnóstico del servicio de mantenimiento de grupos electrógenos de emergencia // Diagnosis of maintenance service for emergency power suppliers
Abstract
En este artículo se presentan los resultados del trabajo realizado para una empresa prestadora de servicios de mantenimiento a grupos electrógenos de emergencia que son propiedad de sus clientes, teniendo como objetivo identificar las causas de mayor impacto sobre el mencionado servicio. Aplicando técnicas tales como observación, revisión documental, entrevista, tormenta de ideas, diagrama causa-efecto, diagrama de relaciones e Inograf, se consiguió identificar un numeroso grupo de factores causales que impactan negativamente en la gestión del mantenimiento a los equipos en cuestión, proponiéndose acciones para superar la situación actual. Se identificaron como causas más importantes la diversidad de marcas, complejidades y contextos operacionales de los grupos electrógenos, la incapacidad para establecer y reconocer las fallas funcionales y sus modos de fallo, así como la falta de mecanismos de supervisión y control.

Abstract
The results of the work carried out for a company that provides maintenance services to emergency power suppliers owned by its customers, are presented in this article. Applying techniques such as observation, document review, interview, brainstorming, cause-effect diagram, relationship diagram and Inograf, it was possible to identify a large group of causal factors that impact negatively the maintenance management of this equipment, proposing actions to overcome the current situation. The diversity of brands, complexities and operational contexts of the assets, the inability to establish and recognize functional failures and their failure modes, as well as the lack of supervision and control mechanisms, were identified as the most important causes.Key words: emergency power supplier, availability, maintenance
