Abstract

Abstract
The present work arose from the need to obtain a mathematical model that allows studying the possible changes that need to be made in a steam generator in order to study its behavior in unusual stationary. The main objective was the adjustment of the mathematical model chosen from the Thermal Normative Calculation, digitized, to a boiler that supplies steam to a 60 MW turbine. To achieve this objective, an extensive search was first carried out for information on the operation, the updated geometrical characteristics and the normed operating parameters of the boiler. Then, based on the aforementioned model, the equations were adapted to the pertinent thermal calculations, these being done for the nominal load and four smaller typical regimes. A comparison was made with the operating standards of the plant, which was satisfactory.
