Evaluación y análisis estructural del cajón de torsión de un portacontenedores de 2400 TEU // Evaluation and structural analysis of the torsion box of a 2400 TEU container ship
Abstract
El objetivo del presente estudio fue evaluar mediante análisis numérico la estructura del cajón de torsión de un buque portacontenedores tipo feeder de 2400 TEU de capacidad, a partir del establecimiento del estado límite de fatiga y del estado límite último, a lo largo de su perímetro. Mediante el empleo del estado límite de fatiga y distintas alternativas geométricas, relativas a las dimensiones locales del cajón de torsión, se obtuvo el grado de influencia de las mismas en la determinación de la vida a fatiga relativa a nueve disposiciones posibles del detalle estructural, compuesto por la intersección del refuerzo longitudinal y la bulárcama. En términos del estado límite último, se determinó la influencia de las modificaciones geométricas en el establecimiento de los valores que hacen referencia a las tensiones locales de pandeo, las tensiones tangenciales inducidas por los esfuerzos cortantes verticales y horizontales y las tensiones tangenciales de alabeo.

Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate by means of numerical analysis the structure of the torsion box of a 2400 TEU feeder container ship, from the establishment of the fatigue limit state and the ultimate limit state along its perimeter. By using the fatigue limit state and different geometrical alternatives, relative to the local dimensions of the torsion box, the degree of influence of these is obtained in the determination of the fatigue life relative to nine possible arrangements of the structural detail, made up of the intersection of the longitudinal reinforcement and the bulwarks. In terms of the ultimate limit state, the influence of the geometrical modifications on the establishment of the values referring to the local buckling stresses, the shear stresses induced by the vertical and horizontal shear forces and the tangential warping stresses is determined.
