Perfeccionar el aprovechamiento de la energía en la industria alimentaria cubana // Improve the use of energy in the cuban food industry
Abstract
Abstract
This work was developed on the subject of energy recovery in the industrial sector, which has been one of the recognized ways to make thermal systems, both industrial, commercial and domestic, more efficient. It was possible to carry out a basic analysis on the application of energy recovery in refrigeration systems where the energy of superheated vapor was used before entering the condenser. In this framework, the objective was the analysis the use of recovered heat in a refrigeration installation represented, from the energy point of view, and the estimation of the costs involved in this implementation. From the analysis it was obtained that the cost of the recovered energy for the chosen recovery variant was 4 and 2 cents, depending on the type of heat exchanger used.
Key words: energy recovery, efficiency, refrigeration, cost.
