Modelo para la gestión de la lubricación y los lubricantes en la industria // Model for lubrication and lubricants management in industry
Abstract
Abstract
The research was carried out based on participatory observation of lubrication actions in different organizations. The evaluation carried out on lubrication and lubricant management identified a set of deficiencies. It was considered that having a model to guide lubrication management is useful to guarantee the continuous improvement of this activity. The objective was to design a model for the management of lubrication and lubricants. The proposed model was conceived as a closed-loop system focused on processes and quality. It was based on Deming's PDCA Cycle (Plan, Do, Check and Act), which appears in ISO 9001:2015 Quality management systems. Requirements, stages were defined for each phase and five aspects of each stage were explained in detail: input information, activities, review, output information and metrics.
Key words: lubrication management, lubricant management, management model.
