// Determination of the nodulazer grain size and the appropriate chamber parameter for
Abstract
Palabras claves: Grano, grafito esferoidal, método in mold.

Abstract
Based on investigations carried out previously, it was determined the pre-alloy and type of more efficient typè of chamber
for the application of the procedure of iron with spherical graphite with nodulization in the mold ("In-mold"). An analysis
of the grain and chamber parameter (relationship between the volume of nodulization and the volume of the reaction
chamber) was carried out in order to obtain better traction resistance values. As a result reached the conclusion that with a
grain dimension of 1 - 1.6 mm combine with the chamber parameter of 0.7, it is possible to achieve an 520-5 iron with
spherical graphite according to ASTM.
Key words: Grain, spherical graphite, in mold method.
