El remachado de embutido: Una opción interesante para la unión de láminas. // Clinching: A good option to joining metals sheet.
Abstract
Entre otros métodos tradicionalmente utilizados para lograr la unión de láminas se encuentran: la soldadura, el remachado,
y el atornillado. Actualmente, esta siendo utilizado una tecnología de unión que alcanza el mismo objetivo sin el empleo de
elemento adicional alguno: el remachado de embutido (clinching). Se describen en este trabajo las características
principales del método, sus ventajas, los tipos más comunes, así como las herramientas utilizadas en los mismos.

Abstract.
Among other traditionally methods used for joining sheets, we can find welding, riveting and screening. At present, a new
joining technology to fulfill the same goal, but using no additional element: clinching. The main characteristics of this
method, its advantages, the standard types, as well as tools used in the process are described in this paper.
