Abstract
Se realiza en este artículo un estudio de herramientas, que fueron fabricadas sin el seguimiento de las
recomendaciones brindadas por la firma TOX® ( utilizadas en el remachado de botón). Conocidas las
características de las herramientas de la firma mencionada, se analizan las consecuencias que provoca el
incumplimiento de parámetros establecidos y sus efectos en la unión. Para alcanzar este fin se analizan uniones
efectuadas utilizando ambos tipos de herramientas. Se recogen además, algunas recomendaciones de orden
tecnológico.

Abstract
A study of tools used for clinching, without following the recommendations of the firm TOX® is developed in this paper.
Given the features of this tools, an analysis of the consequences brought about by not fulfill the established parameters is
carried out and also their effects on the joint. To achieve this goal, the joints of both types of tools are analyzed, and some
technical recommendations are collected.
