// Achievement of adequate work parameters for sheet metal joining using clinching technology.
Abstract

Abstract
Taking into account a previus study of clinching technology refered to obtain the equations for the determination of adequate
work parameters ( x dimension (x), punch diameter (d) and die depth (l),in the join of a sheet metal of 1.48 mm thickness. It´s
developed an analysis to determine the maximum and minimum values of each equation (displacement, power press and
strength joining) so we can achieve the adequate work parameters.
Key words:Joining, optimal analysis, punch diameter, die depth, adequate work parameters, clinching
technology.
