Proposal of a model to assess the maturity level of the maintenance management system

The study aimed to develop a model for diagnosing the maturity level of the maintenance management system within the enterprise. It began by analyzing various diagnostic tools used in maintenance processes, identifying a common insufficiency: these tools primarily focus on functional aspects and lack a process-oriented approach, leaving the need for integration unclear. To address this, the study proposes using a maturity model as the foundation for assessing an organization’s maturity level in maintenance systems. The proposed model features a multidimensional or cubic structure inspired by the widely used CMMi model, consisting of three dimensions and three relationship matrices among them.
